"You break the rules and become a hero. I do it, and I become the enemy. That doesn't seem fair." -Wanda Maximoff

WandaVision is the reason Marvel Studios became popular on Disney Plus. It was a new kind of show. While there was sitcom entertainment and hijinx, something sinister lurked. Wanda Maximoff wasn’t the woman we knew. She took control of an entire town. Innocent people suffered in silence while Wanda lived her best life.

The beauty behind the darkness is viewers feel bad for her. Imagine what it must have been like to lose your family and have the power to bring them back. Most of us would have done the same thing. It’s easy to say you wouldn’t when it’s not you. Things change when you’re in the situation. It’s also not as if she wasn’t punished for what she did. She lost her kids and watched her husband die twice.

That leads us to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The movie was named after Stephen Strange, but Wanda was the star. Like She-Hulk did on Disney Plus, Wanda did for Marvel movies. She was downright terrifying. After months of studying the Darkhold, she became the most powerful person in the universe. Actually, she proved that in Avengers: Endgame. She put fear in Thanos that not even the combined might of Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man could.

When it’s time to go back and watch a show on Disney Plus, WandaVision will always be the way to go. It was the perfect combination of drama, flawless acting, intrigue, and more. It didn’t just help Marvel, it helped all of Disney as well.
