7. Boba Fett

Ah, Boba Fett, the bounty hunter in snazzy Mandalorian armor, ranks at a solid 7 out of 8 in this list filled with iconic characters. But why is he more of a "cool background character" rather than the "main event" star? Well, it's partly because Boba speaks less than your shy cousin at a family reunion. His screen time in the original trilogy is like a cameo in a blockbuster movie – brief yet memorable. He's the strong, silent type, lurking in the shadows with his jetpack and helmet that has seen better days. His allure lies in his mystery, not in his chattiness or grand heroics.

Now, let's chat about his job performance. Boba Fett is supposed to be this top-tier, best of the best when it comes to bounty hunters, right? But if we're handing out employee-of-the-month awards, Boba's not exactly first in line. In The Empire Strikes Back, he nails it by tracking Han Solo to Cloud City, but in Return of the Jedi, he's about as effective as a screen door on a submarine. One might argue his fall into the Sarlacc pit was less about skill and more about bad luck and a blind Han Solo with a stick, but still - it’s not a great look for our armored friend. So, while he's cool with all that mysterious bounty hunter vibe, his actual accomplishments don't quite match up to the legend.
