The Mandalorian

Star Wars' biggest show aired its third season last year after a two-year break from screens. Needless to say, fans were thrilled by the new episodes of The Mandalorian, which saw Din Djarin and Grogu (still and always lovingingly known as Baby Yoda) after their unexpected reuinion on spinoff The Book of Boba Fett.

That won't be the end for the show, either, because Lucasfilm is prepping to film the fourth season in the forseeable future. It was reportedly expected to begin in October, but the strikes prevented that from happening, so now filming is set for early 2024. And, like we said with Dead City, even though that is quite soon, it's unlikely that the show would be ready for release before the end of 2024.

Backing that up is the fact that in a recent Disney press release, the streamer revealed its Star Wars line-up for the year, which will feature The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, The Bad Batch season 3 and Tales of the Jedi season 2. The Mandalorian was absent from the list (and it wasn't the only one!), and it's understandable when you think about it.

With that in mind, we should expect Mando and Yoda to return to Disney Plus in 2025.
