2. Opening another park

Movie: Jurassic World

The phrase, "If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again" shouldn't be used when it comes to dinosaurs. Sure, the first park was sabotaged before it was opened. Nevertheless, this was still a bad idea. There’s nothing that says these Dinosaurs weren’t going to eventually get out. Animals in zoos escape more than you’d think. In what world did they think they could hold lizards that could kill entire armies? Especially when you alter their DNA.

Maybe Jurassic World Park could have worked out. I’m sure many of the readers would have gone. However, this writer will stay home until they’ve worked out the bugs.

1. Going BACK to the island

Movie: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Yet again, people couldn’t leave well enough alone. They return to Isla Nublar (the first Jurassic Park Island) to save dinosaurs from dying on the island. This writer is as sympathetic as the next person, but this is clearly a bad idea. Not because saving living beings is wrong. There was a lot that could have and did go wrong.

Do you start with the auction that resulted in the release of dinosaurs to the world? What about the people who went to the island and accidentally released a giant killer beast into the world? Let's not forget that dozens of people died because there was no plan beyond, "Hey, let's capture some dinosaurs with guns." No matter how you slice it, going back to any of the islands was the dumbest idea of them all.
