The Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of possibilities; possibilities of crossovers, returns, team-ups, and shocks. We've seen it across the 33 movies and 10+ Disney Plus shows, and we will continue to see it as its Multiverse Saga rolls on.

It's well-documented by now that Deadpool and Wolverine will feature some surprises, but so will Agatha All Along. The upcoming Disney Plus show will be the second Marvel Television series this year, and it will bring back Kathryn Hahn as the beloved WandaVision villain Agatha Harkness.

Marvel unveiled the first trailer for it, and it's already clear that it's going to be a thriller, full of surprises. And now, a new report has seemingly confirmed that a beloved Marvel Comics character will appear in the nine-episode series.

Joe Locke's Agatha All Along character is seemingly confirmed

A recent report on the Agatha All Along trailer from Variety has seemingly confirmed that Joe Locke will be playing Billy Kaplan on the show, as it went through all of the supporting cast members and told us who each one of them would be playing. Upon seeing that Locke could be playing that particular characters, fans went into meltdown at the thought of seeing Billy on the show.

For audience members unfamiliar with the character, Billy Kaplan is one of the twin sons of Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. the Scarlet Witch, and Vision. It's a bit more complicated than that, as he's actually the reincarnated version of William Maximoff and eventually crosses paths with his mother in his new life, developing powers after doing so. He then joins the Young Avengers, becoming the hero Wiccan, and has a powerful relationship with Hulkling. The pair were revolutionary when it came to LGBTQIA+ representation in comics and has become a fan-favorite pairing in recent years.

Two previous versions of Billy Maximoff appeared in both WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The first was a magical creation by Wanda as part of the Hex in Westview, while the second was the real son of Earth-838's Wanda, who the Scarlet Witch attempted to take (along with his twin brother Tommy).

It's long been speculated that the Billy Kaplan version of the character was who Locke would be playing, with rumors starting soon after he was cast. The character's official name on the show is that of "Teen" and, according to reports, he will be Agatha's familiar. He will also have his own life before he gets pulled into the magical world, including a boyfriend, who will be played by Miles Gutierrez-Riley, so it will be interesting to see how he will juggle everything the show brings his way.

From the looks of the trailer, he's set to become one of the most enjoyable aspects of the show. And the reports of him being Billy could very well be true, particularly because in the closing shot of that trailer, the clothes he is wearing are definitely a nod to Wiccan's uniform in the comics.

The question is: With a variation of the Scarlet Witch's own son appearing in Agatha All Along, could we see her make an appearance too? If the character's apparent death sticks, that is unlikely, but this is Wanda Maximoff we're talking about here, and if we've learned anything from her most recent MCU appearances, it's that she will stop at nothing to reunite with her children. Perhaps the show will present her with that opportunity.
