  • Avengers: Infinity War
  • Captain Marvel
  • Avengers: Endgame
  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Mark Ruffalo has appeared in eight Marvel movies so far, along with a few TV shows. Ruffalo's first appearance as Bruce Banner, also known as Hulk, was in The Avengers. He stepped into the role after Edward Norton was recast following 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

Ruffalo's Hulk was a huge part of some of the biggest MCU movies of all time, including Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Thor: Ragnarok. It seems like there's a future for Hulk in the MCU post-Endgame, and we've seen Ruffalo appear as Hulk in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, along with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, as well. Ultimately, Ruffalo's future in the MCU seems to be up in the air right now.

Ruffalo recently shared with GQ that he doesn't think a standalone Hulk movie is going to happen, which is a real shame. We got Black Widow after Avengers: Endgame. I think Hulk is the character that gets left out when it comes to the MCU too often. With all due respect, there are three Ant-Man movies, and there's no Hulk movie with Ruffalo as the star. I think that's wrong! There should definitely be a Hulk movie. I assume it'd even fare better than some of the other recent Marvel movies.

If Ruffalo returns for an ninth MCU movie, we'll just have to wait and see!
