Marvel Comics: Thanos will attempt to destroy the world this summer

Thanos is a threat no matter what world he’s in. Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have seen that the Mad Titan is skilled and smart enough to destroy half of life in the universe; a mission he pulled off in Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel comic book readers understand that he’s scarier in the source material (Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity, and more). Fans are reminded of this in Thanos by Christopher Cantwell.
During this series, Death decides that she wants to experience a human life and death. The Illuminati (which consists of Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Dr. Strange, Adam Brashear, and Emma Frost) helped in exchange for knowledge of when the world would end. When Thanos found Death in her mortal shell, he was furious. When he returned Death to her true form, she was even madder. This led to a battle that almost destroyed Fresno. The Illuminati attempted to intervene but were easily defeated.
After Death gets the upper hand, Thanos does something unbelievable. He traps the cosmic entity in a black stone. This could be the stone mentioned in Thor by Donny Cates and Torunn Grønbekk.
Thanos begins to walk away with the Black Stone, but the Illuminati have questions. Among them is what he’s going to do next. To that, Thanos says nothing. He smiles in a way that means trouble is coming. That thought is solidified by the ominous message on the last page of Thanos No. 4. It said that Thanos will return in the Summer of 2024.
Reed Richards mentions that Death promised knowledge of when their world would end. Thor No. 6 (written by Donny Cates) showed a possible future. The Black Winter showed Thor a future where Thanos has Mjollnir with the Infinity Stones on it and the Black Stone in what looks like a Necro Gauntlet. Behind him was an army of zombie superheroes. This summer could be the beginning of the event foretold back in 2020.
