Since Yellowjackets season 2 ended its run back in May 2023, fans have been patiently waiting for any new updates on the upcoming third season. Sadly, we won't be seeing Yellowjackets season 3 until 2025, but we're not going to let that get us down. We just got to keep ourselves busy in the meantime, and we know just what to do. Rankings!

We previously ranked some of the most disliked characters in Yellowjackets, and now we've decided to discuss some of the most saddest moments in the show as well as rank them. Since Yellowjackets is a thriller series with a mixture of horror elements, no character is safe from meeting their end. In just the first two seasons, we have seen many characters be killed off, and each character's death has been heart-wrenching, to say the least.

But besides character deaths, there have been several other sad moments in the show that either left us in tears or on the verge of crying. Now, without further ado, here's our ranking of the 10 most saddest moments in the thriller series.

10. When Shauna beats up Lottie in season 2, episode 7

This scene made me so angry yet sad at the same time because it just didn't seem fair that Lottie had to take a beating because Shauna was grieving over the loss of her baby. I understand that Lottie encouraged her to hit her, but Shauna didn't have to beat her until she was pretty much unrecognizable. She could've killed her!

And let's not forget... Shauna hit Misty first and then punched Lottie, and that's before Lottie encouraged her to do so. She was taking her anger out on everybody, which wasn't right. Lottie was basically on her deathbed with very little strength, and if it weren't for Javi's unfortunate death that provided the Yellowjackets with food, she would've probably died. Lottie's heart always seems to be in the right place. She's just too selfless at times, and that's not a good thing.
