Netflix is removing 40 titles in March including 11 DC superhero movies

March is going to be an eventful month for Netflix subscribers with a lot of exciting new additions coming over the course of the month.

After a quieter start to the year, March will bring some exciting new additions including new seasons of hit series, new Netflix originals, and a wave of incredible acquisitions including The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, just as Netflix giveth, they all taketh away with over three dozen shows and movies set to be purged from Netflix's library over the course of the month of March.

If you're a DC fan, you might want to start getting around to watching the DC movies Netflix only just recently added as Netflix will be removing eleven DC films as March comes to a close. On March 31, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Birds of Prey, Black Adam, Justice League, Man of Steel, Shazam!, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Suicide Squad, The Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and Wonder Woman 1984 will all be removed from Netflix in the US.

With the films leaving Netflix, fans will have to turn to Max which is home to the vast catalog of DC originals. We were surprised when the movies were licensed out to Netflix in the first place given Max has been the primary streaming home to the movies along with DC's many other originals including more recent hits like Blue Beetle and The Flash.

Of course, the DC films are just some of the many titles that Netflix is about to pull over the course of March with 40 movies and shows total leaving the platform in the weeks ahead.
