Who will be in Deadpool and Wolverine? That is the million-dollar question Marvel fans have been asking themselves for months now and understandably so.

If you’re a Marvel fan such as myself, you likely keep a close eye on social media for rumors and leaks connected to upcoming Marvel projects. There are many Marvel releases confirmed, but without a doubt the most-anticipated title on the slate is this summer’s Deadpool and Wolverine which will see both characters making their official MCU debuts. The film also will bring Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine, a character we thought he said goodbye to for good back in 2017 with the release of Logan.

Fans are thrilled to see Jackman back as Wolverine, but they’re also just as excited for the many additional characters rumored to also be returning or making their MCU debuts in the upcoming film. Social media has been in a frenzy with countless rumors circulating over potential A-List stars joining the cast either in new roles or to revisit iconic roles from their past, creating a wave of excitement among audiences to see who might pop up across the film.

While we’re going to have to wait to see how many of the rumors that have been floating around in the months leading up to Deadpool and Wolverine prove to be true, there are four characters whose inclusion has been confirmed thanks to a newly released photo showcasing merchandise from the upcoming film.

Deadpool 3 to mark the live-action debut of several Deadpool characters

With Deadpool and Wolverine’s July 26 release date fast approaching, Marvel Studios is on the promotional train with new merchandise beginning to hit shelves for fans to enjoy. Among the new merchandise coming soon is a line of Funko Pop! figures inspired by the film’s characters.

Our first look at the collection revealed a new Deadpool and Wolverine figure were coming which wasn’t surprising at all given the pair are the film’s title characters. However, a new photo of packaging from the collection has confirmed the addition of four iconic characters from the Deadpool comics who will be making their live-action debuts in the upcoming film.

In the still released by Funko Info, it has been revealed that Funko will be releasing Pop! figures that include Headpool, Dogpool, Kidpool, and Babypool.

Given the film is going to see Deadpool entering the Multiverse, it’s not surprising at all to see there are multiple Deadpool variants about to pop up within the film. What is going to be interesting is to see what actors might be behind the roles – sans Dogpool who will be played by a dog, shocking I know.

There have been many rumors that have hinted that Kidpool could be played by Ryan Reynold’s The Adam Project costar Walter Scobell. While some have said there is no truth to said rumors, knowing Kidpool is indeed going to be in Deadpool and Wolverine seems to give new legs to the rumors and it would be genius casting.

Scobell and Reynolds had incredible chemistry in Netflix’s sci-fi hit, and there is no doubt they’d be able to recreate the magic they shared in the film. Plus, Scobell would be such a fun addition to the Marvel Studios family and he’s already worked with Disney via his role as Percy Jackson in the Percy Jackson Disney+ series.

We’ll be curious to see how the characters pop up within the film and exactly how big of a role they each play, but given they’re all getting Funko Pop! figures it seems likely they’ll play a sizable enough role to warrant their inclusion in the planned merchandise line!
