RWBY: 11 strongest characters ranked from weakest to most powerful

If you’re raising an eyebrow, wondering what in the heck RWBY is, let me enlighten you, my child.

RWBY (pronounced “Ruby”) is a hidden gem of a show by Rooster Teeth - the same folks behind Red vs. Blue (I just showed my age, didn’t I?). It's actually really sad how this dazzling spectacle flies under so many radars undetected or gets judged by its initial animation. In RWBY, you find a world brimming with color, where students train to become heroes, fighting off creatures that will definitely make you jump at times. It zips through heart-pounding action, entirely too many teary-eyed moments, and belly laughs - all set in a world that's a giant candy store for your eyes and brain.

Now, the characters in RWBY are the real MVPs. We’ve got Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang – they’re like a super squad of awesomeness, each with their own quirks and incredibly dangerous and awesome weapons. Imagine a scythe that's also a sniper rifle or gauntlets that go BOOM – it's like the showrunners raided a fantasy armory and went wild.

The way these characters grow is like watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly. Their journey is pretty intense – they all start out in a very Harry Potter-like school environment, and they all have to grow up pretty fast due to Grim (those creepy creatures I mentioned above) attacks. Needless to say you'll cheer, cry, and you'll probably want to adopt at least one of them. Or, you’ll find a piece of yourself in each of them and take their lessons to heart (Yang, Nora, and Penny form the Cam Trifecta, for instance).
