2. Superman and Lois (season 3)

Worn by: Tyler Hoechlin

The third season of Superman and Lois finally perfected the super suit for Tyler Hoechlin. Not only did it have the right amount of padding, it was more colorful than both of its predecessors, with the deep blue of the suit itself popping against the red cape, belt and boots.

The thing that really set it apart, though, was the chest emblem, which was no longer just there. A completely separate part of the suit glued onto the chest, it sits out from the rest of the suit, embossed and full of definition. It's attention-grabbing, eye-catching, but also small enough not to take away from the rest of the suit (in the same way that the best iterations of Batman's chest symbol have been). Speaking of definition, there is also more of that in the abdominal area, giving the suit more of a polished finish without overdoing it like some of its predecessors.

Without a doubt, the best traditional Superman suit we have ever seen, it was third time lucky for Superman and Lois, and any future Superman movie is going to have a tough time attempting to outdo this one, because this suit would be perfectly at home on the big screen.

The irony is that the show managed to eclipse this just once.
