4 TV shows that probably won't be back in 2024

2024 will see the returns of several hit series, but we're not expecting these four shows to return in the new year.

A new year is almost upon us and 2024 promises to be quite an exciting year for television fans. After a fall season that looked unlike anything we've seen before with many fall staples nowhere to be found due to strike-related delays, many of our favorite shows will soon be making their way back to the airwaves with fresh new episodes.

As the year goes on, there are many more shows that will join the list of shows we'll get to enjoy over the course of 2024 including hit series like House of the Dragon, Bridgerton, Star Trek: Discovery, and Superman and Lois.

Of course, there are also several shows we're not anticipating back in the new year. Many shows such as Stranger Things and The Last of Us have already been ruled out for 2024, but there are a handful of other series we're growing doubtful will arrive in time for fans to enjoy new seasons in the coming year.

While there is no guarantee the shows on this list won't be coming in 2024, we just have a sneaking suspicion that we probably won't be seeing the new seasons arrive next year. (And yes, we're just as bummed about that as you are!)
