The leader of the X-Men, Cyclops is one of Marvel's most popular (and yet underrated) characters. But which of the actors to play him delivered the best performance?
The X-Men have provided Marvel Comics fans with plenty of beloved characters, and one of the most famous (and yet underrated) of them is Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops.
The leader of the X-Men, Scott is a mutant with the ability to produce powerful energy beams from his eyes (a.k.a. optic blasts). It means that he must wear red shades at all times when not in his X-Men uniform. And when he does suit up to lead the team into battle, he dons a special visor which can focus and direct those energy blasts at anyone who means them harm.
Scott has been involved in many iconic storylines over the years, ranging from his legendary romance with Jean Grey to his feud with Wolverine. He has also been adapted into various other media outside of the comics, too.
The most famous of those appearances have come in the form of the live-action Fox movie franchise, and various beloved animated outings too. Speaking of the former, Cyclops is the only X-Men character to, thus far, have three actors play the role in a significant capacity. It's also wild that all three of them are a part of the same franchise. That being said, who played him the best?

Yes, Scott Summers has been adapted more times than you might remember, but not all of those performances came in memorable projects.
