On Jul. 31, 2026, superhero fans worldwide have a date with the wall-crawler himself courtesy of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. There's only one detail: we still don't know much about the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. An official trailer is still eluding us, and the main antagonist remains under wraps. Fortunately, multiple reports have given us a better idea of what to expect, and it seems Peter Parker will undergo his biggest challenge yet.

Rumor has it that villains like The Hand, Tarantula, Ramrod, 8-Ball, and Boomerang will make their MCU debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Furthermore, it has been officially confirmed that Scorpion and Tombstone are set to appear in the film and wreak havoc in New York City. At this pace, it feels like only the Sinister Six could be missing from the equation, and even then, another villainous group could very well take their place.

The Enforcers will reportedly appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man wasn't only a fantastic origin story, but it might prove to be the blueprint for future MCU storylines. Reliable insider Alex Perez first claimed that the Disney+ series mirrors future events awaiting Tom Holland's Spider-Man in his upcoming movie, and the involvement of Scorpion and Tombstone in both projects already reflects this idea. With that in mind, it doesn't come as a surprise that The Enforcers could also have a role to play in the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure.

Scooper Daniel Richtman revealed that the Enforcers will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The infamous group of small-time criminals has a long history with Peter Parker, as they made their comic book debut all the way back in 1964 during the events of The Amazing Spider-Man No. 10. Since then, they have appeared in many other places, such as Ultimate Spider-Man (2000) and, most recently, in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

The Enforcers usually do the bidding of a bigger, more dangerous villain in comic book pages, so there's a chance that they work for Tombstone in Spider-Man: Brand New Day (though that's just speculation on our part). They could be the ones to break Scorpion free from jail and possibly even drive that tank we've seen in multiple set videos now. The Enforcers could also have a minor role in upcoming MCU projects, but they might follow orders from someone else (like Kingpin).

At this rate, it's impossible to deny that Spider-Man: Brand New Day is shaping up to be a very stacked movie. The Hand, Scorpion, Ramrod, Tarantula, Tombstone, Boomerang, 8-Ball, and all three Enforcers will all reportedly face the wall-crawler. Furthermore, Savage Hulk is rumored to make his long-awaited live-action debut, Sadie Sink's character could very well be Jean Grey, and the Punisher is confirmed to make an appearance as well. As such, it's impossible not to wonder if the movie has too much on its plate for its own good (like The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

Fortunately, it has been reported that many Spider-Man: Brand New Day villains will only be part of an opening montage showcasing what Peter Parker has been up to since the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It is unclear whether the Enforcers' role will also be relegated to this sequence or if they will have a larger presence. However, their status as minor antagonists hopefully means they won't take much of the spotlight away from other major characters.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on Jul. 31, 2026.
