It's been a while since we last saw Peter Parker on the big screen. After the hero's last appearance, we witnessed the Kingpin take control of New York, the Void plunge the city into chaos by turning everyone into shadows, and Deadpool travel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to try to join the Avengers. Throughout this time, superhero fans have had the same question in mind: Where is Spider-Man, and why hasn't he done anything to stop these situations? Fortunately, the time for answers is nearly here.
Over four years have gone by since the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and its follow-up is on the horizon. Peter will start a brand-new chapter in his life courtesy of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and it's fair to say that fans are eager to see what's next. The film's official trailer broke the record for being the fastest ever to get a billion views. Furthermore, excitement is at an all-time high to see Jon Bernthal's debut as the Punisher on the big screen.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day couldn't come any faster, and that's why some fans will be excited to learn they will be able to watch it earlier than originally anticipated.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will release early in some countries
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2026, in the US. However, other countries will get to see it ahead of time, such as Germany, where the film will be released two days earlier than expected on July 29, 2026.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will also be released on July 29 in the Philippines, while other international territories such as Italy, Argentina, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Ukraine will watch the movie just a day later on July 30 (which is still one day earlier than expected).
This isn't exactly a new release strategy, as the MCU has been banking on it ever since its inception. The very first Iron Man movie hit theaters on Apr. 30, 2008, in countries like Australia, Argentina, and more, ahead of its May 2 release in the US.
Marvel does this to build anticipation. International territories get to watch a film ahead of time so that reactions and reviews are published online before its US release. If the initial reception is positive, it makes it all the more likely that US audiences will fill entire movie theaters when the movie finally comes their way. This model has proven to be successful time and time again, as the studio still uses it 16 years later.
Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame are the only two projects that premiered worldwide on the same date to avoid spoilers from making their way online ahead of time. As such, we can also expect a similar scenario to happen with Avengers: Doomsday.
Interestingly enough, it has been confirmed that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in China, unlike its predecessor. Although No Way Home missed out on a major international market, it still managed to earn 1.9 billion USD at the box office. So Brand New Day is perfectly set up to surpass that mark, especially since it has a lot of anticipation behind it.
The first official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day became the fastest ever across any form of media (film, TV, or video games) to surpass one billion views. Furthermore, it has been reported that the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure had a test screening, and it was described as "Spider-Man 2-level good". With that in mind, Brand New Day could very well become the highest-grossing Spidey film ever. Better yet, it won't be long before we finally find out what the movie's reception will be like (especially with the early releases in some countries).
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
