Ever since Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced it, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been surrounded by all sorts of crazy rumors. First, it was reported that the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film would be all about the wall-crawler teaming up with Daredevil. Then, Sony hinted that we'd get to see Peter Parker cross paths with Tom Hardy's Venom, ramping up speculation that Knull would act as the big bad. Now, it appears as though The Hand could have a major role to play.
With so many conflicting reports, fans have been eagerly awaiting Sony and Marvel to release an official Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, giving us a taste of what's to come and putting all speculation to rest. But even though the film is set to release in less than five months, any official footage has eluded us. We first watched four different Avengers: Doomsday teasers, even though the highly anticipated crossover is set to hit theaters much later in December. Fortunately, our days of living in the dark are coming to an end, as we finally know when to expect our first look at the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer will reportedly be released on March 18
The week of March 16 will finally give Marvel fans what they've been waiting for, and there's plenty of evidence that suggests that will be the case. First, renowned and reliable insider Daniel Richtman confirmed that the trailers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Dune: Part Three will be released next week, with credible outlet Trailer Track doubling down on this information.

Scooper Alex Perez went a step further and gave us a specific date: March 18. This seems likely, as it would happen just in time for the footage to be attached to Project Hail Mary, which will be released on March 20. Of course, rumors should always be taken with a grain of salt, but there's more concrete evidence to suggest that the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is imminent.
Fans have noticed that the official Spider-Man: Brand New Day website is up, which indicates a big marketing push is coming our way. Furthermore, the site has a dedicated trailer page, and though it simply redirects to the home page for the time being, that behavior is likely to change over the following days. Furthermore, digging into the source code shows that the trailer is already uploaded to YouTube and is simply waiting for the perfect moment to be made public.
To add more fuel to the fire, the trailers, ads, and posters for Spider-Man: Brand New Day have already been rated, which indicates they will be released soon. To cap things off, insider The Beyond Reporter stated that the footage will be 1 minute and 59 seconds long and will be nearly identical to the leaked trailer that surfaced last year. If true, we'll get our first true look at the wall-crawler sharing the screen with Jon Bernthal's Punisher and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk (except in HD, this time around).

Given that official merch has already started to spoil the appearance of previously unannounced villains in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it was only a matter of time before a trailer came our way. It's important to keep in mind that important events, such as CCXP MX and CinemaCon, are on the horizon. If the first teaser comes our way next week, that means Sony can take advantage of those big conventions to release either a second trailer or even a small clip of the movie, showcasing even more of what's to come.
Sony knows that if there's any superhero project that doesn't need a trailer months in advance, it's a Spider-Man movie, which is likely why we haven't seen anything just yet. But given the levels of excitement the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure is generating, something must eventually come our way, and it's nice to know it will happen soon.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
