Despite being Marvel's most beloved character, Spider-Man has a very short history when it comes to live-action TV shows. The last time the wall-crawler took over the small screen in a similar fashion was all the way back in 1978, courtesy of the iconic Japanese Spider-Man series. Just one year before, in 1977, Nicholas Hammond made history by bringing Peter Parker to life for the first time ever in this medium. Unfortunately, that's where the list of examples comes to an end, but that is soon to change.

Spider-Noir is shaping up to be unlike anything we've seen before. Audiences will dive into a dark, twisted version of New York set during the Great Depression, where "monsters" lurk in every corner. Iconic villains like Sandman, Black Cat, Silvermane, and Tombstone are about to take the spotlight, while Nicolas Cage is set to bring the series' protagonist, Ben Reilly, to life.

Expectations are at an all-time high for the wall-crawler's return to the small screen, and the trailers have already given us a good idea of what to expect. So, the only question remaining now that we're close to the series' release is how long will the episodes be? Fortunately, we finally have an answer.

Spider-Noir Season 1 episode runtimes reportedly revealed

Insider Cryptic HD QUALITY accurately revealed the episode runtimes of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and now they are looking to repeat history all over again with yet another Marvel project. According to the same source, these are the runtimes of all eight episodes of MGM+ and Prime Video's Spider-Noir:

  • Episode 1 - 44 minutes
  • Episode 2 - 40 minutes
  • Episode 3 - 45 minutes
  • Episode 4 - 47 minutes
  • Episode 5 - 47 minutes
  • Episode 6 - 40 minutes
  • Episode 7 - 40 minutes
  • Episode 8 - 46 minutes

While it wasn't specified whether these times take into account the end credits sequence, the previous Daredevil: Born Again season 2 breakdown did, so it's likely we're facing the same scenario once more. That means we should subtract around two to three minutes from each episode to obtain the length of their true, raw footage. With that in mind, the shortest episode of the season would have 37 minutes of pure Spidey action, while the longest would have 44 minutes.

Unlike many other superhero series, Spider-Noir will drop all of its episodes at once on the day of its release on Prime Video. If you want to binge-watch the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure, you'd need to spare a total of 5 hours and 25 minutes (provided you skip the credits of every episode). For comparison, the longest Spider-Man movie is No Way Home, which clocks in at 2 hours and 28 minutes. That means you could watch the latest Spidey flick twice and finish before witnessing the entirety of Spider-Noir once.

Spider-Noir will follow private investigator Ben Reilly as he attempts to crack the case of who's behind the assassination attempts on Silvermane, an iconic crime boss who sits at the top of the city. This tangled web of mysteries and violence will lead the wall-crawler to face iconic villains, such as Sandman, and newcomers such as Megawatt (who will take Electro's place) and Jimmy Addison (who was initially speculated to be Molten Man). Audiences will be able to watch the entire series in "authentic black and white" or in "true-hue full color."

Given Spider-Noir's unique nature, fans are eager to discover whether Sony has a success on its hands. But given that more Spider-Man spin-off series are coming our way, it's clear the studio has faith in their upcoming release. Fortunately, it won't be long before we follow Ben Reilly into a world filled with crime, unimaginable horrors, and just a little touch of whimsy.

All eight episodes of Spider-Noir will be released on Prime Video on May 27, 2026.
