Fans were left stunned when they saw Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown as Princess Leia in this new Star Wars footage.

Star Wars is without question one of the most popular movie franchises of all time, with its fanbase enduring over decades. Stranger Things is one of the most popular TV shows of our generation, with the show racking up millions of fans around the world in a very short space of time. When the two collide, who knows what’s possible.

One of Star Wars’ most beloved characters is Princess Leia Organa – who was played exquisitely by the incomparable Carrie Fisher.

A new video has now surfaced online featuring Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown in the role of Princess Leia. What’s really stunning is that the video uses DeepFake technology to digitally place Brown’s face into the original Star Wars footage, before comparing the CGI edit with the original footage of Carrie Fisher.

According to EpicStream, YouTube user Stryder HD regularly creates magnificent videos using DeepFake. The video also remarks that they created it after fans chose Brown as the actor they wanted to see super-imposed onto Leia. Watch it here:

Star Wars fans have stated in the past that Brown bares a resemblance to a young Carrie Fisher and this video absolutely showcases that.

The Mandalorian season 2 used CGI to recreate the likeness of a young Star Wars favorite and fans understandably haven’t stopped talking about it since. This edit of Millie Bobby Brown’s likeness is equally as impressive.

Brown is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood today. Not only does she play Eleven in Stranger Things, she also starred in Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Madison Russell and the titular character in Enola Holmes.

Could we see her pop up in a Star Wars movie in the future? Stranger Things have happened, right?
