Dragon Ball Super episode 91 synopsis: “Universal Survival Saga: Which Universe Will Prevail?! The Mightiest Warriors Assemble!!”

The Dragon Ball Super Episode 91 synopsis teases a Vegeta training sequence, the Omni-Kings, and a look at the preparation of the other universes.

The “Universal Survival” saga of Dragon Ball Super is certainly heating up. The Tournament of Power is inching closer, so all that remains are for the competitors to prepare. We learned in episode 89 that all the competitors of Universe 7 have confirmed they’ll participate.

Recent episodes have seen Goku rushing to recruit all the members. Now, he can finally concentrate on just training. We learned from the synopsis of episode 90 that there will be a tag team match—Goku and Tien vs Gohan and Piccolo. And the episode will also feature a Goku vs Gohan battle.

It is also worth noting that a certain “Prince of Saiyans” hasn’t featured as much in recent episodes. Granted, he’s been dealing with parenthood, but Vegeta not training is almost impossible.

Well, it appears we may finally get to see more of the Saiyan. Thanks to the translations of Twitter user @Herms98, we will see Vegeta prepare for the tournament. The synopsis reads:

"“In the training match, Gohan displays enough power to hold his own against Goku, showing that he’s grown stronger than ever before. Meanwhile, Vegeta heads to God’s palace to start training in the Room of Spirit and Time.”"

We knew it wouldn’t take Vegeta long to get back to training. One thing worth noting is, during the “Future Trunks” saga, the training facility was put out-of-order by Zamasu. So it is worth wondering whether this would be mentioned in this episode.

We also learned from another post that the other universes will be featured in this episode:

"“Having confirmed Gohan’s strength, Goku and the gang have finally decided upon the members for the “Tournament of Power”! Meanwhile, Universe 9 and the other universes likewise prepare for the battle.”"

It is interesting that Universe 9 was specifically called out in this synopsis. Perhaps they may have a vital role in this episode. Many fans do believe that Universe 9 poses the biggest competition for Goku and his team.

Also, thanks to Twitter user @GovetaXV, we learned that the Omni-Kings will also be part of this episode:

"“Bored Omni-King (Zen-o-Sama) suggested to start the tournament right now (as quickly as possible). Grand Priest formally advised Omni-King (Zen-o-Sama) and explained the situation of the warriors of each universe that will be participating in the tournament.”"

We hear you Zen-o-Sama. We all want this tournament to start as soon as possible too. With that being said, we still have a lot to look forward to in this episode.
