Amazing Spider-Man 2 game available to download on Xbox-One despite delays

The Amazing Spider-Man 2/Xbox One drama continues as many thought the game was cancelled on the platform, and then the game was being released for Xbox One but only in July. However there’s a new development in the ever-unfolding story as the game is appears to be  available for purchase via the Xbox One Live store now.

As vg247 reportsNeoGAF user Wario64 has posted a selection of photos showing the game on Xbox One, along with timed achievement challenges. It was also streamed over Twitch, but as some posters suggest, the version shown may not be final.” So here are the photos below.

Several people have reportedly downloaded the game and the playthrough on Twitch is showing absolutely no noticeable bugs that would prevent a release. Eurogamer reports that the game is still available to download “It looks like the game is still available to download – if you access the US version of the store. If this link auto-redirects to the UK page, hit “United Kingdom” at the page’s footer and then select “United States”. And there it is – priced $59.99.”

So it seems that the Game has been released on the Xbox One and no-one really knows about it. The last we’d heard from Activision they were collaborating with Microsoft to bring the game out as soon as possible. However no announcements have been made and there’s nothing to indicate that they had sorted whatever issue there was out.

So what is going on? Well isn’t that the question of the day.
