Justice League: Throne of Atlantis Sneak Peak

This sneak peak of the next DC Animated film Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is a special feature on the Blu-Ray of Batman: Assault on Arkham. Throne of Atlantis follows after the events of Justice League War, and is in the same universe as Son of Batman. It follows the story of Arthur Curry as he discovers his true identity, becomes king of Atlantis, and becomes a member of the Justice League as Aquaman! Take a look:

This sneak peak is actually one of the reasons I waited to see Assault on Arkham until I got the Blu-Ray, I knew there would be a peak at the next DC Animated film in the bonus features, which you don’t get access to when you purchase or rent the film digitally. I’m glad DC is making this film, comic fans have been bad-mouthing Aquaman for years and while I doubt that this will put a complete stop to all the mocking, I am hoping it will generate more interest in Aquaman in time for Batman v Superman. I am a big fan of Jason Momoa and think he could be great in the role. I’m also quite thrilled with his casting as he is not the stereotypical Caucasian blond that Aquaman is normally portrayed as and I am all for casting diversity.
