The Hollywood Reporter says that BSkyB has picked up the rights to show The Flash in the U.K. for an undisclosed amount of money, adding it to a lineup that already includes its fellow DC super hero show Arrow. Both series are aired by The CW in the U.S. BSkyB has the luxury of picking and choosing from all of the American networks and cable outlets when it bids on shows, so this is a sign that the company has some confidence that The Flash will be a hit.
There’s no word yet as to when The Flash might start its U.K. run (no pun intended). The series, which recently added Greg Finley as Girder to the growing roster of super villains that will torment Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen, will make its U.S. debut on The CW on October 7.
