Get Another Chance At Superior Spider-Man In Spider-Man Unlimited

Sandman isn’t all bad. And I mean that literally since he occasionally has been a good guy in the comics.

Of course he’s also been a member of the Sinister Six, which is how you’ll encounter him in Spider-Man Unlimited. And yet I’m still not willing to bury the guy, because he is giving us all a chance to get our hands on the first Legendary character in the game, Superior Spider-Man.

Here’s what you’ve got to do: play the “Enter Sandman” event that’s running now through November 5. Play with Battle Damaged Spider-Man of any rarity to get a score bonus and get a score in the top five of your group of 1,000 players. Yes, that could be a tall order, but at least you’ve got a shot.

The cumulative rewards aren’t bad either, as defeating 90 bosses will get you the brand spanking new Epic version of Battle Damaged Spider-Man, complete with new art. That’s worth the risk of some sand jamming up your web-shooters, wouldn’t you say? There’s also a special Event Portal that will give you a chance at both the Spider-Men I just mentioned.

Happy hunting, and remember to take it relatively easy on Sandman. Other villains are a lot worse.
