A Titan Will Attack NYC In Marvel/Attack On Titan Crossover
By Nick Tylwalk
When we first heard that Marvel was going to be doing a crossover of some sort with Attack on Titan, the popular manga series, one of the first questions that came to mind was how it would work logistically. Not in the real world, mind you, but in terms of the story.

We got our answer today thanks to anime site Crunchyroll, who reports that the story will be a “What if?” deal with the female Titan menacing New York City and the Avengers assembling to battle it there. The story will appear in the issue of Brutus magazine that goes on sale November 15 as part of a larger feature with Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama.
We’ve maintained all along that whatever story contrivance was necessary to bring Marvel heroes and the Titans together was probably the least important part of the tale, as it’s going to simply be a visual treat seeing them clash. The Female Titan is the only one of its kind so far in the manga, somewhat smarter than some of the other Titans but no less imposing at 46-feet tall.
Sounds like a worthy threat to assemble the Avengers. We’ll have more on this titanic (pun intended) crossover when it releases in Japan later this month.
