Comics And Food Go Together In Marvel’s 3 Course Comics
By Nick Tylwalk
Food and comics aren’t typically a good pairing. I’m always extra nervous reading comics while I eat, nervous that I’m going to spill something on my brand new books (and as my family can verify, that’s a legitimate concern). Also, as awesome as comics are, they probably don’t taste very good.

Leave it to Marvel to figure out a way they can reside in harmony. Marvel’s 3 Course Comics is a new video series that bring you inside the creative process as C.B. Cebulski sits down to pick the brains of creators and editors over a specially prepared themed meal.
The first episode, which you can see below, has Cebulski whipping up a variation on Aunt May’s wheatcakes, some “Web of Spider-Man” pasta and a special Spidey-themed dessert while talking Spider-Verse with writer Dan Slott, senior editor Nick Lowe and editor Sana Amanat.
“Marvel’s 3 Course Comics focuses on the crossroads of food and comics,” Cebulski said in a press release. “Cooking has always been a passion of mine, and if I hadn’t gotten into comics, I probably would’ve become a chef. So I’m thrilled to bring some of my international experiences from doing business around the world back home to my kitchen and table to share with creators and editors as we talk about exciting stories happening around the Marvel Universe.”
This is only the beginning, as episode two is on the way soon. While you wait for the inevitable Marvel/Food Network crossover with Cebulski as a contestant on Chopped and Bobby Flay guest-writing Amazing Spider-Man, you can keep up with 3 Course Comics on Marvel’s YouTube channel.
