Avengers: Age Of Ultron Theater Banner Finally Shows Vision
By Nick Tylwalk
Marvel has done a pretty good job of keeping the Vision under wraps leading up to Avengers: Age of Ultron. He was off in the distance in the promotional posters given out this summer at Comic-Con, and the synthezoid didn’t make an appearance at all in the first couple of teaser trailers.

But as the May release gets closer and the promotional machine starts spinning at higher velocity, it was just a matter of time until something used to hype the film gave us a clear look. Sure enough, one of the bloggers for Comic Book Movie was able to grab a few pics of a movie theater lobby banner (not sure what country it’s from, but not the U.S.) that clearly shows Vision right in the middle of the assembled team.
Interestingly, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are not pictured with the group, reinforcing the theory that they start the film on Ultron’s side, or at least opposing the Avengers.
As for Vision, he’s sporting a more obviously robotic look than we’re accustomed to from the comics, one that extends to both his face and his body. Still, longtime fans should be pretty happy that his familiar green, red and yellow color scheme is intact. When you see him, you know it’s the Vision, and that’s the important part.
Paul Bettany is playing Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which assembles in theaters on May 1, 2015.
