Batman Christmas Gift Idea: Funko Pop!

Christmas in nearly here (if you’ve visited any retail store recently, it already is) and chances are you have a Batman fan in the family. We here at Caped Crusades understand and want to help you find that perfect gift all throughout the month of December.

It’s getting to be crunch time. Christmas and Hanukkah are right around the corner. Time to think about those last minute Batman gifts. One present, in my experience, that always goes over well is figures from Funko Pop! Check out this exclusive fig from Midtown Comics:

"A new bat signal has just gone up in the sky from Midtown Comics. This exclusive Batman is from Earth-37 and it’s the Thrillkiller Batman version. Earth-37 is one of 51 parallel universes created from the Multiverse following the events of the Infinite Crisis. In this reality, the Wayne family lost their fortune in the great depression and it’s Barbara Gordon who takes up the Wayne Manor. Together with Dick Grayson, Barbara (Batgirl) and Dick (Robin) team up to fight a female Joker and stop crime in the 1960’s. Bruce Wayne works as a detective and only takes up the mantle of Batman following the death of Robin. Together, he and Batgirl, fight crime to avenge the death of Robin. This Batman feels darker than previous versions of the Caped Crusader. The almost blood-red Batman logo in the middle of the chest of the uniform looks more dangerous and feels like the world they are a part of is more evil and vicious. Myself being more of a fan of Marvel, I look forward to what different POP!’s come out involving both the DC and Marvel world and seeing different variations of favorite characters.
