Wait, Is Vin Diesel Going To Be In Inhumans Too?
By Nick Tylwalk
Most people would be happy with a role in one Marvel movie, especially if it’s one that defied expectations to be the most popular movie of 2014. For Vin Diesel, that might not be enough. Now he’s teasing everyone with his possible involvement in another Marvel Cinematic Universe flick, albeit one that’s a little further away than even the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.

The picture above comes from Diesel’s Facebook page, and the actor had it up as his cover photo for only six hours. It certainly caused a stir in a short period of time, racking up over 300,000 likes and getting shared more than 6,000 times. As you can see, it features Diesel in an Inhumans shirt and has the tag line “Are you Inhuman?” behind him.
It could just be Diesel messing with his fans a bit, or it might be that he’s actually talking to Marvel about a part in its Inhumans movie, which will release in November of 2018 near the very end of Phase Three of the MCU. Of course Diesel is already the voice of Groot of the Guardians of the Galaxy, so how could he star in another franchise as another character?
Comicbook.com speculates that perhaps Diesel is in discussions to play Black Bolt, the historical king of the Inhumans and a character whose sonic powers are so dangerous that he doesn’t talk. One part where Diesel is just a voice, and one where he’s just doing physical acting with no lines? That could work.
We’re talking about a movie that isn’t going to begin filming for at least two years, so this falls into the extremely early speculation category. If Diesel’s prior history is any indication, he’ll send us some more hints before we get to any official announcements for Inhumans.
