Very funny, Marvel. To get us all appropriately fired up for the Ant-Man teaser that will debut on January 6 during the premiere of Agent Carter on ABC, Marvel released a tiny look at it today.

And I mean that literally. As you can see in the video below, there’s a good 15 seconds of footage or so, but it’s so small that you can’t really make out what’s going on. He’s a super hero who can shrink. Get it?

This reminds me of a stunt that Adult Swim pulled back when the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie came out in the spring of 2007. The network claimed it would show the whole movie on TV before its theatrical release, and it made good on that — but by showing it in a tiny box in the corner of the screen, sans sound.

The images in the tiny Ant-Man teaser are even smaller, so I honestly couldn’t tell you what’s going on except to say I see water at some point, and there appear to be plenty of quick cuts. I’m sure people with more tech savvy and more time on their hands will be along soon to give us some clues to what we’re seeing.

Also, allow me to join the chorus of voices amused by the fact that we live in an age where we get teasers for teasers. Marvel knows exactly how to push our buttons at this point.

Here’s the pint-sized clip. Don’t forget the real one will be on TV on Tuesday night, giving you another reason to watch Agent Carter.
