Something Major Happens On The Last Page Of Amazing Spider-Man #12
By Nick Tylwalk
Don’t worry, there are no spoilers here, because I have no idea what it is. I just know that even if you haven’t been reading Spider-Verse to this point — and you might want to rectify that, because it’s really a fun story — if you care about Spider-Man and his associated characters, you’ll want to grab Amazing Spider-Man #12 on Wednesday.

I feel confident in saying this because Rich Johnston of Bleeding Cool says so, and he is “One Who Knows Things.” Johnston got to see the final page of Amazing Spider-Man #12 ahead of time, like the well-connected chap that he is, and here was his reaction:
"Basically, the ending of this issue is such a major one for Spider-Man, for Spider-Man lore, for Spider-Man fans that it won’t be a secret for long. If you value your spoiler-free-ness, you should probably just get off now. Don’t go on 4chan. Stay off Twitter. Stay off Reddit. Definitely don’t read a national newspaper any time soon, not until you haveAmazing Spider-Man #12 in your sweaty hands."
When Rich tells you to get off the grid to keep the ending a secret, you should probably do it.
Now here’s the fun part: trying to predict what the surprise might be. Again, I don’t know the answer myself, so don’t expect me to make fun of anyone’s guess. I’m also not a regular Spider-Man reader, hopping on board just for Spider-Verse, so I’m not as steeped in spider lore as I’m sure many of you are.
So if you’ve got a guess, drop it in the comments section below or hit our Facebook page. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen, even though my job makes it pretty certain I’ll find out before I read the issue tomorrow.
