Warzones Is The Final Marvel Secret Wars Branding
By Nick Tylwalk
They said there were going to be three, and three there shall be! Three different brandings for Marvel Comics titles during Secret Wars, that is, and the final one is “Warzones.” Or maybe that’s “Warzones!” The exclamation point appears to be part of the deal.

Compared to the other two brandings, Last Days and Battleworld, books carrying the Warzones! banner may tell us the most about how the Marvel Universe will look after Secret Wars. During Marvel’s Live Kickoff event earlier this week, the message was that Battleworld would serve as the “incubator” for the new MU, and that events that took place within all of the different parts of this crazy, patchwork world would shape the future.
It’s not explicitly stated in the release that accompanied the image below, but the guess is that the titles we saw teased during the summer, most of which were classic Marvel events revisited, will fall under this banner.
“If you want a glimpse of what the future holds, you’ll find it in the WARZONES titles,” Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso said in a press release. “Our creators let their imaginations run wild as they lay down the foundations for the future. Whether we’re revisiting the most popular events from Marvel’s past or telling completely new stories, you won’t believe what we’ve got in store for you.”
If you’re excited and/or confused as to what we’ll be seeing after Secret Wars, you’ll want to check out these titles. Until then, it’s another piece of the overall puzzle to ponder.
