First Look: CM Punk, Timothy Truman And More On Thor Annual #1
By Nick Tylwalk
Marvel has a pretty slick way of celebrating the very first annual for the latest Thor series. The concept is three stories, one each from the past, present and future of Thor, done by three different but all intriguing creative teams.

That’s what awaits in Thor Annual #1, on sale February 25. Leading things off is WWE superstar turned UFC rookie CM Punk, making his Marvel debut by telling a story about Thor and Mephisto (I think) having a drinking contest that’s illustrated by Rob Guillory of Chew fame.
For the present, we’ve got a tale of the current Thor, the Goddess of Thunder. We still don’t know who she is, but Noelle Stevenson and Marguerite Sauvage are going to have the Warriors Three do some sniffing around to see if they can figure out her identity.
Last but not least, King Thor’s birthday is coming up sometime in the future. The Girls of Thunder have a pretty amazing idea for a present, which is brought to life by writer Jason Aaron with comics legend Timothy Truman on art.
A pretty good crew, no matter what your tastes in super hero comics might be. We’ve got a quick peek of pages from all three stories, plus variant covers by Guillory and Sauvage. Like I said, something for everyone.
