Ah, February! The weather may stink in many parts of North America, but at least we can take solace in the fact that it’s a time for romance, valentines and … Harley Quinn?

You don’t need to check for it on your calendar, but trust me, it’s Harley Quinn Month. Announced by DC today on its blog, the company is celebrating the whole month long in ways as unique as Dr. Quinzel herself.
It starts on the internets, where there is now an official Harley Quinn Facebook page and hub page on DC’s main site. Visitors during February will find advance looks at her comics, info on her products, free skins for Infinite Crisis and more. DC is promising it’ll all be in “Harley’s special voice,” which means just reading the posts should be entertaining.
If you simply need more Harley in your life, the Harley Quinn Valentines Day Special #1 (where she wins the bidding for a very special charity auction prize: a date with Bruce Wayne!) goes on sale February 11, and Harley Quinn #15 hits on the 25th.
You can also find the Harley Quinn/Joker Kiss statue, which is available now, and Hot Topic has its “Mad Love” promotion offering great apparel and assorted merchandise that is either directly related to Harley or simply match her style and personality.
This all seems great, but we do wonder: what’s Harley going to do once she realizes that she got the shortest month of the year to call her own? I prefer to stay on her good side, so I’m not pointing that out to her. In any case, forget about Valentine’s Day and enjoy Harley Quinn Month. It’s certainly better than the same old, same old, and a little dash of craziness can help cure any winter blues, don’t you think?
