M.U.S.C.L.E. Style Batman Figures!

Hey remember M.U.S.C.L.E.? If you do, you were almost definitely a kid in the 80s, as M.U.S.C.L.E. figures were pretty much a staple of childhood in that decade. M.U.S.C.L.E. stands for Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere. There was a TV show and even an excellent Gamecube game (along with a really awful NES game). They were basically weird little alien wrestling figures you collected. I suddenly really want a M.U.S.C.L.E. Skylanders-style game now just talking about them…

Anyways, if you wanted some 80s nostalgia mixed in with some new Batman figures, you are in luck. These M.U.S.C.L.E.-inspired Batman figures are due out in June of this year and based on the digital comic “Li’l Gotham”. There are 7 base figures (Joker, Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and two variations of Batman) that will come in six different clor variations in random packs of two. I assume if this first run is successful there will be more, as the Batman universe has hundreds of characters that would probably look pretty cool in this style. No further info is available at the moment, but these will be premiering at this year’s Toy Fair, so we will probably get more info (such as pricing) then.
