David Ayer recently tweeted:
"The case of Harley Quinn: Her madness defines her. Is she mad because of WHO she loves or because she loves him so much? #skwad"
As to what that means and how both David Ayer and Margot Robbie, who is playing Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad movie, we’ll just have to wait and see. The Suicide Squad film is currently slated to start shooting in April (though they are still looking to fill the role of Rick Flagg after Tom Hardy dropped out and Jake Gyllenhall passed on the role) and open in theatres August 2016.
