Marvel Teases “Forceful” Announcement On The View On Friday
By Nick Tylwalk
The View is not a show I normally watch. Something about me not being part of the target demographic. But when Marvel says it’s going to make a big announcement on the show tomorrow, I’m sort of forced to tune in, especially since the last time it turned out to be kind of a big deal.

The press release that Marvel sent out today read “MARVEL COMICS MAKES A FORCEFUL ANNOUNCEMENT ON “THE VIEW”!” Take that for what you will.
Oh, it also said that the reveal would be part of Secret Wars, and that it would be Marvel’s next “game-changing title.” The company does have some history with books with the word “force” in their titles, like X-Force. Also Fantastic Force, but I’m not sure we need to go back there.
In any case, you got me Marvel. I’ll be watching Friday at 11 am on ABC (helpfully, the Thor announcement came in the show’s very first segment, so hopefully this one will too). Until then, if anyone has any guesses as to what this might be, if it’s another typically male character becoming a female or something else entirely, drop us a comment below and register your hunch.
