First Look: Spidey, Cap And Inhumans Team Up In Amazing Spider-Man Special #1
By Nick Tylwalk
Remember the old days when multi-part crossover stories would run through annuals or specials? I certainly do, and Marvel is bringing that concept back in March with the “Inhuman Error” tale that teams Spider-Man, the Inhumans and Captain America.

First up, it’s Amazing Spider-Man Special #1, written by Jeff Loveness of Jimmy Kimmel Live and illustrated by Luca Pizzari. The Inhuman city of Attilan used to be hidden, but New Attilan could hardly be more visible since it’s plopped down right in the middle of the Hudson River. Thus, when the city ends up under siege, New York is in danger, which means Spider-Man is going to take an interest. Also Captain America, we assume, or he wouldn’t be mentioned in the press release.
In any case, the story begins in Amazing Spider-Man Special #1 before continuing to Inhuman Special #1 and All-New Captain America Special #1. That’s a lot of special! We’ve got a first look at some pages, plus the first part of a nifty interlocking cover by Adam Kubert. Look for it in stores or on digital on March 11.
