Will Smith & Margot Robbie Talk Suicide Squad!
In addition to appearing together in the upcoming con film Focus, Will Smith & Margot Robbie are key players in the Suicide Squad movie, playing Deadpool & Harley Quinn respectively. The Suicide Squad film has had some casting troubles recently, though, with Tom Hardy dropping out of the role of Rick Flagg and having trouble finding a replacement actor. Both Smith & Robbie talked with USA Today about the issues finding a replacement Rick Flagg.

Margot Robbie gave her thoughts on the matter:
"This happens all the time. People act like, ‘Oh my god, the movie must be ending!’ It’s just the deal with movies. Not to mention a lot of the characters haven’t been portrayed before so it’s a pretty big undertaking,” she adds. “And it’s a big undertaking for the people who are going to play the characters who have been played, like the Joker (who is being played by Jared Leto). It’s big shoes to fill."
Smith simply said “We’ve still got to get it right” on finding someone to fill the role of Rick Flagg, but he also talked about Suicide Squad director David Ayer’s progress on the film:
"(Ayer) turned the screenplay in before Christmas. What happens is Hollywood shuts down. But he was still working and he wanted to (start shooting) April 13th. So it takes a couple weeks to gear back up at the top of the year and people have taken (other) movies. He’s moving really quickly."
Will the Suicide Squad find their Rick Flagg soon? Let’s certainly hope so, we don’t want to wait longer than the planned August 5th, 2016 release date to see the Suicide Squad on the big screen!
