A better question might be whether or not any people are left in this area of Battleworld, where Ultron’s minions and flesh-eating zombies are fighting each other. Normal people might not have any chance to survive, and even the Vision, Wonder Man, Jim Hammond and other heroes might have their hands full just staying alive.

Writer James Robinson and artist Steve Pugh are taking us to this forsaken land in Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies #1, and the situation for any survivors is likely to be just as dire as it sounds.

“I had the idea of an area on the border between the domains of Ultron and Zombies,” Robinson said in an interview with Marvel.com. ” … where humanity was holding out withstanding these two opposing types of inhumanity.”

Take a look, if you dare, at some of the sample pages from the first issue, and hold on tight for Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies #1 to invade stores and digital in June.
