Will Smith & Margot Robbie Talk Chemistry In Suicide Squad
Will Smith & Margot Robbie will be playing iconic DC villains Deadshot & Harley Quinn in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. But if Suicide Squad is sticking pretty close to the comics (and director David Ayer has indicated as much), Harley Quinn & Deadshot are going to be more than just teammates. So chemistry between the two actors is important. Smith & Robbie both talked with Collider about this while talking about their new movie, Focus.

Smith said “You can’t create chemistry. You either have it or you don’t. And when she walked in, it was really palpable.”
Robbie also talked about what drew her to playing the role of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad:
"There are a lot of layers to the character. And then, there’s the idea of playing a supervillain. Playing a bad guy is always more fun than playing the good guy. I’m looking forward to that."
Granted, I haven’t seen Focus, but I’d imagine that these two wouldn’t be cast in these roles if they didn’t exhibit some significant chemistry together. Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016
