Jared Leto Gets A Little Off The Top Preparing To Play Joker In Suicide Squad

Despite that, it is kind of a big deal for Jared Leto, who’s been looking a lot more like the stereotypical image of Jesus than the Joker as of late. Suicide Squad director David Ayer tweeted out Sunday that, “Something will happen. Tomorrow.” And apparently, that something was Leto’s long, flowing locks and full beard hitting the floor.
Here was Ayer’s first tweet today:
Several hours later, he followed with the “after” pic:
Now all we have to do is fill in the makeup with our imaginations. I don’t know about you, but I’m picturing a suitably creepy Clown Prince of Crime with Leto behind the rictus grin.
Suicide Squad, directed by Ayer and starring Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Joel Kinnaman, is slated to begin filming next month en route to its August 5, 2016 release.
