Suicide Squad: David Ayer & Jared Leto Are Teasing Something…

Suicide Squad is set to start filming next month in Toronto, but could we be getting an early sneak peak at something before the filming even begins?

Suicide Squad director David Ayer posted this mysterious tweet, promising… something for tomorrow:

That tweet itself isn’t a big deal, as Ayer has been posting various photos over the last few months of things like the Suicide Squad comic books he is drawing inspiration from and weapons that might be used in the film such as a flamethrower. But then Jared Leto, who is playing The Joker in Suicide Squad apparently arrived in Toronto today.

Sure, you could still possibly throw that off as a coincidence. After all, Suicide Squad doesn’t start filming for another month, Jared Leto could have plenty of other legitimate reasons to be in Toronto. But then Jared Leto went and posted this:

So what’s going on tomorrow? My guess is they are doing a makeup test to see just how Jared Leto looks as the Joker. That’s something you might want to find out well before starting filming. Will we get a peek at Jared Leto in Joker makeup? Hopefully! And we here at Caped Crusades will report on whatever David Ayer & Jared Leto are revealing as soon as possible tomorrow, so stay tuned! Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016.
