Robert Downey Jr. Wants To Send You To The Avengers: Age Of Ultron Premiere

What a guy that Tony Stark is. He’s no doubt feeling a little guilty about putting the whole world in danger by inventing Ultron, so he wants to make it up to everyone by sending someone to the world premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron and help a great charity in the process.

Sorry, that’s me getting the actor mixed up with the character he plays again. It’s actually Robert Downey Jr. who wants to send someone to the Age of Ultron red carpet premiere for “the best night of your life ever … on Earth.” And actually, hanging out in L.A. with RDJ prior to the premiere, doing some indoor skydiving and getting to see the movie before all of your friends does sound like it might qualify.

To enter, you’ll need to donate $10 or more, with all proceeds going to support Julia’s House, a hospice center for children with terminal illnesses. You can do so at www.omaze.com/rdj, and the cool part is that it’s kind of like a Kickstarter project, in the sense that depending on the size of your donation, you may end up with some free stuff even if you don’t win the grand prize. Plus there are weekly drawings as well, like this week’s that sees one lucky winner receive a replica Iron Man suit autographed by Downey himself.

So let’s review: great cause, awesome prizes, a chance to see Age of Ultron first, and the enthusiastic participation of RDJ. Sounds like a no-brainer contest to enter to me. I’ll be sure to wave to you if I end up walking the red carpet.
