Does This YouTube Video Put The Avengers: Age Of Ultron Trailers In Chronological Order?
By Nick Tylwalk
I have no video editing knowledge or skills, so I’m always envious of people who can do cool stuff with video clips — and it doesn’t even need to be that complicated.

Take YouTuber JohnnyB2K, for instance. He’s taken all three Avengers: Age of Ultron trailers that have been released so far, sliced them up and reassembled them into one, five-plus-minute Frankenstein’s monster of a trailer. He also thinks that he’s figured out where each slice belongs in relative order within the movie itself.
Parts of it are a bit jarring because of the very different musical choices to reinforce the tones of the three different previews, but the broad strokes seem to be very good guesses. For example, the forest battle scenes are presumed to appear early on in the film, before Ultron achieves sentience. Likewise, Tony Stark’s explanation to Bruce Banner about the mistake he’s made only comes after Ultron has already made his presence felt, which makes perfect sense (though I’m not as convinced the Stark-Banner conversation is split the way it is here).
Most of the big battle scenes versus Ultron are placed near the end, which also figures to be the case. But is it possible Vision only comes on the scene that late in the movie? That wouldn’t seem to leave him much time to switch sides.
None of this is meant as criticism, merely observation. Impressive work by JohnnyB2K, so make sure you take a look and see what you think.
