See New Wonder Woman Costume That Debuts In June
By Nick Tylwalk
It looks like Batman isn’t the only major DC super hero who will look different once Convergence runs its course.

HitFix got to debut the solicitation for Wonder Woman #41, the first issue after the two-month break that all continuing DC series are taking during April and May. Written by Meredith Finch with art by David Finch and Jonathan Glapion, it teases a “daring new direction begins with the arrival of a brand-new villain!” But what really catches the eye is the brand new costume it looks like Diana will be sporting:
While many people will no doubt focus on Wonder Woman’s wrist blades — and yes, they do scream Hawkman a little more than Wonder Woman, especially since they’re gold — they aren’t really a dramatic departure from her New 52 arsenal that often has her wielding a sword. Villains just won’t be able to knock these blades out of her hands.
The other obvious talking point is that she’s complete covered, with no skin showing. Considering that her original New 52 outfit, which was supposed to feature pants, drew a lot of attention from fans before DC decided to put Wonder Woman back in her more traditional swimsuit-esque costume, it’s sure to be something that is widely discussed again.
Everything else is fairly iconic, from the tiara to the color scheme, so if the idea was to merge the classic with the modern, I think this is a pretty decent blend. We’ll get to see it in action for the first time on June 17.
