New Rumors On Joker In Suicide Squad
Umberto Gonzalez of Latino Review has been posting rumors the last couple days regarding Suicde Squad, ranging from the main villain to Deathstroke’s role in the film (though keep in mind at this point Deathstroke is not even confirmed to be in the movie). Now he is sharing some supposed details of Joker’s role in Suicide Squad as well.

Firstly, this Joker will be based on Frank Miller’s version in The Dark Knight, which is a little more muscular than your traditional portrayal of The Joker, which would go along with the reports that Jared Leto is packing on some pounds for the role. And apparently it will be mentioned that he has killed one of Batman’s sidekicks (obviously Jason Todd unless they are drastically altering history). But much bigger news is that supposedly Dr. Hugo Strange will be in Suicide Squad. No word on casting, but he will have plenty of scenes with both Joker & Harley Quinn.
Keep in mind this is all rumor right now, as these roles haven’t even officially been mentioned. But it does make perfect sense and Latino Review is a fairly reliable source of information on these things, so don’t be surprised if it’s true. We may not even see Hugo Strange in the trailers if he is indeed in the film. Suicide Squad comes out in theaters August 5th, 2016.
