First off, Batman won’t really be in Suicide Squad. He’ll be more of a legend and mythical figure that only The Joker, played by Jared Leto, will have had experience with. The government in DC’s movie universe apparently is not horribly fond of the dark knight however, and that Amanda Waller is very key on tracking him down, claiming that he is “the key” to taking down the other supers. There is footage of Batman in combat, but that appears to be the only time he shows up in Suicide Squad at all (although there are also rumors of him showing up at the end of the film when Joker breaks out of prison).
This would be line with how Amanda Waller generally behaves in the comics, she’s extremely paranoid about super-powered beings and at the very least wants a plan in place to take them down if they turn against the government or often even wants to make pre-emptive strike so they never even have the chance.
Of course this is strictly rumor, but like pretty much all the other Suicide Squad rumors that Gonzalez has been posting lately, it certainly sounds credible and also sounds like Suicide Squad will be a pretty great film. Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016.
