Suicide Squad: Jai Courtney Talks Captain Boomerang’s Suit
Jai Courtney is doing the media rounds for his latest movie, Insurgent. And while yes, people want to talk about that, everybody wants to ask Jai Courtney questions about his upcoming role in Suicide Squad as Captain Boomerang. He recently talked with IGN about Captain Boomerang’s outfit for the movie as well as his thoughts on director David Ayer’s approach

"I’ve had a few fittings, but the costume is in development as we speak. It’s not going to look like anything that’s been done before, and I think this whole world will look a lot different than anything else.David Ayer is developing a great voice, and it’s interesting to see his first foray into this type of genre, where he isn’t grounded in reality. The biggest draw to this project was being able to work with him. I talked to a lot of the guys who were in Fury and his process just fascinated me."
Now of course Captain Boomerang is primarily a Flash villain. So will we see Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang in a Flash movie? Courtney told IGN “I’m not withholding anything, but that is a dialogue that hasn’t been opened yet.” So no real answer yet. Hopefully we’ll get to see what Captain Boomerang looks like before too long with the movie set to start shooting soon. Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016.
