PSA: Discounted Comic-Con Hotel Reservations Tomorrow
By Nick Tylwalk
Unless you live in or around San Diego, attending Comic-Con International isn’t cheap. Every dollar saved helps, which is why even though the discounted hotel room block set aside for the show still can cost you, at least it’s a little easier on your wallet.

If you want to get in on it, though, you’ll need to act quickly. As in, 9 am Pacific time tomorrow (Tuesday, March 24) quickly. Comic-Con has made more discounted hotel rooms available than in any previous year, but you’ll still want to be ready and online when the registration window opens. Anyone who already has a badge for this year’s show should have an email with the link in it, and Comic-Con says it’s best to use a desktop rather than a tablet or phone to access the reservation page.
Some other tips to keep in mind:
- You’ll need to submit six hotel choices. Exactly six.
- Once confirmed, reservations require two nights to be paid, tax included. That money is fully refundable if cancelled by April 15. Between April 15 and May 15, you can get one night back if you cancel. After May 15 … you should probably just go to Comic-Con!
Need more info and tips? Hit the SDCC Toucan blog right now. You can also view a list of all the participating hotels to be prepared ahead of time.
Good luck, and don’t be surprised if we hit you up asking to crash on your floor!
